Our Mission
“To educate learners in a holistic manner, faithful to the catholic ethos in order to acquire knowledge, skills and values relevant to the society in order to compete effectively.”
Most of our students have gone on to be notable leaders and influencers worldwide. This makes us proud as they value St.Mary’s as a place where they spent the best of their school years. It is them that keep us passionate about our school’s philosophy.
“Respected and God – fearing learners”
“To educate learners in a holistic manner, faithful to the catholic ethos in order to acquire knowledge, skills and values relevant to the society in order to compete effectively.”
We teach our Students to learn to;
Our school is famous for developing its students academically, spiritually and physically.
Our programs deliberately promote self expression, discipline and God-centered living. We encourage our students to be communicators, principled, open-minded, innovative and caring. This is why a Saints student takes maths, prayers, rugby, charity work, drama and violin all in his stride. It also explains why Saints students are usually all rounded confident individuals. This is also why our school has gained a reputation for molding just such leaders. So at Saints the question is not what will your child be when they grow up but rather what can’t they be.
These and many other things make Saints special. If you are a prospective parent or student please call to make an appointment and visit us. Come see for yourself what factors have made us renown for molding creative well balanced leaders.
Established in 1939, St. Mary’s is one of the most respected private schools in Kenya because of our time-tested commitment to creating and maintaining a conducive learning environment modeled on the catholic tradition.
St. Mary’s is a private catholic day school. Founded by the Irish Holy Ghost Fathers in Parklands, our school is currently situated within an expansive 85 Acres in Muthangari, Nairobi. The school is one of many owned and managed by the Archdiocese of Nairobi.
We have a combined program consisting of Junior (Primary) and Senior School (Secondary). Our Junior School teaches the Kindergarten, CBC, Cambridge Primary and Junior Secondary curricula while our Senior School programme teaches KCSE (F1 – F4), IGCSE and IB Diploma. Once admitted most of our students advance in the school from Grade 1/Year 1 in primary to secondary and finally up to university entrance examinations in our IB Diploma program. Though primarily a boy’s school from primary upwards our 26-year-old IB Diploma program is co-educational and admits girls.
We are internationally recognized and accredited with most of our student’s getting placement in some of the best universities in the World.
