Position Overview:
St. Mary’s School is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual for the position of Junior School Coordinator. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the educational experience of our youngest learners and contribute to a nurturing, engaging, and dynamic learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate daily operations within the Junior School
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, age-appropriate education
- Support the development of curriculum plans and school programs
- Monitor student progress and support both academic and social-emotional growth
- Act as a liaison between parents, teachers, and school leadership
- Oversee the implementation of school policies and initiatives
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience working within an educational setting, preferably in a Junior School or early years context
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Passion for inspiring young learners and supporting their development
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) degree from a reputable university.
- Proven experience in teaching for at least 5 years.
- Must be registered with TSC.
- Experience in teaching in the IGCSE curriculum will be an added advantage.
