TEACHING VACANCY

Introduction

St. Mary’s School is a school of the Archdiocese of Nairobi with a rich cultural tradition blended in academic and co-curricular activities. We offer the following curricula:

• Junior School – National (CBC up to Grade 9) and Cambridge (CIC) Curriculum.
• Senior School – National (KCSE) and Cambridge (IGCSE) Curriculum
• IBDP – International Baccalaureate Diploma Program

We are looking for the following teachers in:

JUNIOR SCHOOL

1. Mathematics / Integrated Sciences Teacher (Grades 7, 8 & 9) with a preference for Social Studies and Pre-technical Studies.
2. French Teacher /with any other subject (Lower primary)
3. English/ Social Studies teacher (Upper primary and Junior School)

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor/Diploma of Education with a bias in the above subjects.
• Proven experience in teaching Primary School for at least 3 years.
• Must be registered with TSC.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Other accreditation with regard to the teaching subjects and/or other related activities will be a plus
• Experience in teaching the Cambridge (IGCSE) curriculum will be an added advantage.

 SENIOR SCHOOL

4. Geography/Business teacher
5. Music/P.E teacher
6. English /Literature

 Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education with a bias in the above subjects.
• Proven experience in teaching Secondary School for at least 3 years.
• Must be registered with TSC.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Other accreditation with regard to the teaching subjects and/or other related activities will be a plus
• Experience in teaching the Cambridge (IGCSE)/ IBDP curriculum will be an added advantage.
